Hi there! My name is Shelley, otherwise known as Shelleybean. I began making hair accessories after the birth of my daughter, Emily. As a mother of three sons (and *ahem* three stepsons as well) I was just tickled pink to have a little princess! Little girls are so much fun!
Shortly after her hair began growing, I began searching for little bitty bows that wouldn't fall out of her oh-so-fine locks. I found tons of huge, over the top hair bows in boutiques and overpriced accessories in expensive department stores. I just couldn't find what I wanted at decent prices, so I decided to make them myself in the totally cute styles that I imagined on clips that would stay put!
I put the same time and care into your little princess' hair bows too! Let me know if she has super-fine hair and I will add a no-slip gripper in the clip free of charge! I use only the highest quality ribbons available. All of my bows are hand-stitched and glued for extra strength. Ends of the ribbon have all been treated to prevent fraying. Curlies have been heat treated so you can rest assured they will retain their curl.

In my opinion, The french barrettes are great for "locking in" bigger bows in older girls' hair just above ponytail holders. Lined single alligator pinch clips are best for superfine baby hair, or just for taming wispy locks; these work great on smaller bows. If you do not specify a clip preference, I will use french barrettes for medium or large bows, and non-slip alligator pinch clips for small or baby bows.
